Man Down & Distress Alarm

Imarda utilizes a state of the art remote Man Down and Distress Alarm which provides the user with peace of mind up to 300m from their vehicle. The belt worn transmitter is handy and easy to use.  The standard version offers several ways of activating an alarm. Depending on the situation, you can transmit using the red alarm button. Two pushes activates an alarm that is transmitted to the vehicle which then send the alarm with the vehicle location to the SmartTrack fleet management system which then relay and information directly to you.

For extra personal safety, there is a pull-cord that activates the emergency alarm when detached from the transmitter, e.g. when the transmitter is forcefully taken from a person. The automatic man-down alarm is activated depending upon the position and angle of the transmitter over a predefined period of time. To avoid false alarms, a warning tone sounds before automatic alarms are transmitted.
